As Content Director at Hexxen, I oversee the planning, creation, and optimization of all written materials and front-end website content, facilitating collaboration between teams. I view my position as that of a problem-solver: when someone Googles something, it's because they have a problem; my job is to present our clients as the solution. We achieve this through a variety of off- and on-page SEO techniques, as well as the production of in-depth, useful content that Google values highly. From HVAC companies to law firms, martial arts academies, and controlled environment manufacturers, our content team takes pride in speaking from the client's expertise and through their voice. My educational background is in English Literature, History, Creative Writing, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language. This background has equipped me with skills in research and analysis, as well as the ability to convey information in an easy-to-understand and engaging manner. My experience in SEO began as a content writer with Hexxen, and I quickly developed a passion for it as it allowed me to engage both the right and left hemispheres of my brain. I am grateful to work for a company that encourages outside-the-box thinking, allows me to be creative, and finds success in their clients' success. In my free time, I am an avid reader and strive to maintain a balance between fiction (mostly Sci-Fi), history/biography, science, self-help books, and comic books. I love any RPG game with a good story. My wife and I enjoy binge-watching shows it seems like no one else has seen. We love traveling to rural areas whenever we get the chance and hope to own an alpaca farm one day. Unfortunately, I am also a massive Chicago sports fan, which has not offered much return on my emotional investment since Michael Jordan retired.Nickname:
